The Internal Sales Representative supports company growth by managing prospect qualification and follow-up, strengthening customer relationships, and maintaining the CRM system. This role serves as a central link between inside sales, field sales, customer service, and headquarters to ensure effective sales support, rigorous pipeline management, and consistent inter-team communication.

Requirements

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web applications, and job-specific software.

  • College diploma preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Minimum of one year of relevant sales experience (preferred).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in the logistics industry (preferred).
  • Ability to communicate in French and English to serve clients and interact with stakeholders inside and outside of Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through research, IT and AI tools, cold calls, and email campaigns.
  • Build and maintain a structured sales pipeline, including target lists and prospect allocation.
  • Manage small accounts and transfer high-potential prospects to the sales team.
  • Reactivate lost accounts and identify opportunities to increase portfolio share.
  • Prepare for account openings and coordinate setup with the accounting department.
  • Respond to product inquiries, resolve customer issues, and support sales activities.
  • Organize customized presentations for clients and prospects.
  • Contribute to the organization of client events, regional activities, trade shows, and internal events.
  • Enter sales call information into the sales data system or other designated company software, and provide sales reports as directed by management.
  • Recommend improvements to CRM processes and company practices.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and proposals to support sales teams.
  • Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new clients.
