About The Position

CCN International is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead its Veneer Press and Machine Room teams producing custom, high-end office furniture. The supervisor guides employees, addresses production challenges, and helps ensure components meet quality and craftsmanship standards. The role involves overseeing daily production, providing technical guidance across woodworking processes, resolving quality and equipment issues, and coordinating with other departments to keep production moving and improve processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Significant experience in veneer processing, woodworking, machining, furniture manufacturing, architectural millwork, or a related field.
• Knowledge of veneer fabrication, wood materials, adhesives, substrates, and quality standards.
• Ability to read production drawings, work orders, specifications, and measurements.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment, production, and quality issues.
• Ability to organize work, manage competing priorities, and train and coach employees.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and basic computer skills.
• Must be able to move or lift at least 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with veneer presses, CNC equipment, edge banders, and other woodworking machinery.
• Related technical training.
• Experience in contract furniture or commercial wood products.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise daily production to meet quality and delivery requirements.
• Provide technical guidance in veneer preparation, matching and pressing, panel fabrication, CNC machining, edge banding, and sanding.
• Inspect work and resolve quality and equipment issues.
• Keep materials and jobs moving through production.
• Train and coach employees, set clear expectations, and maintain a safe, organized work area.
• Work with other departments to resolve bottlenecks and improve production processes.
