We are seeking a Vendor Supply Chain and Logistics Consultant to join our team. This role involves analyzing organizational processes and systems, assessing business models, and designing technology integrations. You will be responsible for managing direct vendor relationships, overseeing all purchasing needs from a logistics and supply chain perspective, and directing the Shared PMO team on Purchase Orders (POs) and Change Requests (CRs). A key deliverable is the precise maintenance of a Bill of Materials (BOM) throughout the engagement. You will also coordinate technical solution changes and ensure alignment with clients and subcontracted Lab partners.

Requirements

Experience supporting procurement/supply chain operations in a federal environment
Experience managing direct vendor relationships and overseeing purchasing activities within logistics and supply chain environments

Responsibilities

Analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.
Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution.
Research, gather and synthesize information.
Manage direct vendor relationship for the program.
Responsible for overseeing all purchasing needs from a Logistics and Supply Chain perspective and directing the Shared PMO team on which Purchase Orders (POs) and Change Requests (CRs) must be initiated throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage the project’s key client deliverable: a Bill of Materials (BOM) that must be maintained with precision throughout the engagement.
Work directly with the client and with subcontracted Lab partners, coordinating technical solution changes and ensuring alignment across all parties.
