About The Position

This position is responsible for serving as a liaison between our bankruptcy vendor(s) and Internal teams throughout Loss Mitigation. This includes assisting with account inquiries, document retrieval, fee approvals, invoicing, handling of litigation matters, and discussions on contracted expectations.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Office such as Excel, Outlook and Word; data entry experience is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in bankruptcy servicing and/or bankruptcy legal processes; vendor management experience preferred
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business or related field may be used as a proxy for experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with vendor inquiries regarding Bankruptcy Servicing
  • Review, audit, and submit invoices for payment for bankruptcy vendor(s) on applicable services, along with completing frequent audits to ensure compliance adherence.
  • Follow-up with bankruptcy vendor(s) regarding contracted service level agreements and performance trends.
  • Ensure all departmental and company compliance guidelines are followed along with bankruptcy laws and regulations
  • Complete frequent audits of our bankruptcy vendor(s) to ensure compliance adherence.
  • Retrieve and provide requested account documents as needed to bankruptcy vendor(s).
  • Support the creation and execution policies and procedures.
  • Be involved with and provide direction on bankruptcy litigation matters related to adversaries, MFR’s, Plan Objections, etc.
  • Ensure confidentiality of the company’s operations, portfolio, customer information, and computer technology.
  • Navigate through multiple software programs and windows.
  • Other duties as assigned
