Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license in good standing and an acceptable motor vehicle record.
  • Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic arithmetic skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, meet established goals, and work effectively with the team.

  • Experience with warehouse equipment (pallet stacker & strapper and pallet jack).

  • Ability to work well in a group/team setting with limited supervision.

  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Experience with the Eclipse system.

Responsibilities

  • Travel daily in a company-provided vehicle to support the implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory programs at customer locations.
  • Evaluate inventory positions and establish replenishment quantities based on established parameters.
  • Restock products as needed during customer visits.
  • Build relationships with customers and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Inform customers about the latest products and services.
  • Ensure appropriate customer stock levels and generate new orders with customer approval.
  • Unpack orders, check accuracy, and put away stock at customer locations.
  • Provide communication and feedback to sales representatives and supervisors.
  • Perform general housekeeping for service equipment and immediate work areas.
  • Perform shipping and receiving duties to support the local company warehouse.
  • Verify and audit all items for purchase orders from vendors and sales order shipments.
  • Stock new inventory and maintain current inventory.
  • Prepare and pack orders for shipment via Ground or LTL.
  • Maintain receiving and shipping records.
  • Prepare bills of lading and schedule truck/carrier deliveries.
  • Transport materials to the shipping dock with a pallet jack or hand truck.
  • Load trucks using a forklift, if needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Perform other warehouse and clerical duties.
