About The Position
The Vendor Compliance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the overall success and compliance of the auditing process. The role oversees Vendor Compliance Auditors and Unloaders, emphasizing attention to detail and continuous improvement. In partnership with site management, the supervisor helps ensure operations are effective, efficient, and safe, and recommends areas for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily load counts and volume to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Communicate and monitor performance metrics.
- Assign workloads to promote efficiency.
- Communicate violations and overall metrics to site leadership daily.
- Validate violations before loads are allowed to leave the facility.
- Manage associates, including recruiting, training, ongoing coaching, and corrective action as needed, in conjunction with the Vendor Compliance Manager.
- Identify and recommend areas for improvement to site management.
- Supervise a team of Vendor Compliance Auditors.
- Supervise a team of Unloaders.
