About The Position

The Vendor Compliance Agent will establish and maintain communication with gaming vendors, ensuring compliance with NIGC and State of Oklahoma regulations. This role involves managing logs of vendors, testing and tracking electronic gaming machines (EGM) and software, coordinating installations and removals, and performing follow-up testing. The agent will maintain detailed records of EGM activity and testing, possess knowledge of gaming laws, and participate in vendor audits. The position requires adherence to all work rules, policies, procedures, and safety standards within a drug-free workplace.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess knowledge of Tribal, State and Federal Gaming Laws and Regulations.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for contact with general public, employees, governmental and business associates.
  • Organizational and record-keeping skills are necessary for accurate maintenance of files, correspondence, and follow-up.
  • Proficiency with computers and programs such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Internet.
  • Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, staff, co-workers, and general public.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Insurance.
  • May be required to submit to and pass applicable drug test and background check.
  • Adhere to all work rules, policies & procedures, and safety standards.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 plus years of gaming experience is preferred.
  • 2 plus years of slot operations or equivalent.
  • Related work experience and/or higher education preferred.
  • Knowledge of gaming laws and amendments.
  • Be familiar with the Freedom of Information Act and the requirements of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Establish contact with all gaming vendors and be the main communication between the casino and the vendor.
  • Maintain a log of current gaming vendors in all gaming facilities.
  • Receive, test and track all Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM) and software.
  • Ensure compliance with NIGC and State of Oklahoma regulations.
  • Perform necessary testing to protect the integrity of the gaming facilities.
  • Coordinate all new installs, software updates, conversions, face and par changes.
  • Coordinate removal of any and all machines, tables and software.
  • Ensure that the machine produces the required reports necessary to stay in compliance with NIGC MICS and State regulations prior to any new installation.
  • Complete follow-up testing on EGM and servers.
  • Maintain detailed filings of all related EGM activity materials and testing.
  • Participate in audits of each gaming operation pertaining to vendors.
  • Attend trainings to stay current with job responsibilities.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
