About The Position

At TD SYNNEX, we’re looking for a data-driven and relationship-focused Vendor Business Manager to drive growth and profitability across a strategic vendor line. In this role, you will own the profit and loss (P&L) performance, influence business strategy, and partner closely with vendors and internal teams to unlock new revenue opportunities. This is a high-impact role where your insights will directly shape go-to-market strategies, optimize inventory planning, and strengthen vendor partnerships. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in vendor management, product management, or sales operations within IT distribution or OEM environments (e.g., notebooks, desktops, systems)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, with experience interpreting P&L data
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with forecasting, inventory analysis, and market research
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build strong partnerships
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to proactively resolve challenges
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Own and monitor vendor P&L, identifying opportunities to improve revenue, margin (Net GM%), and overall profitability
  • Analyze financial performance and deliver actionable recommendations to accelerate growth
  • Support and execute strategies to meet or exceed monthly revenue and margin targets
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts and manage inventory planning to optimize supply and reduce risk
  • Analyze trends to ensure alignment between vendor supply and customer demand
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor partners, acting as a trusted point of contact
  • Negotiate terms, resolve issues, and align on shared business goals
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational challenges related to vendor lines
  • Analyze market data, competitive trends, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities
  • Create reports and presentations that inform strategic decision-making
  • Support go-to-market initiatives and vendor-funded marketing programs
  • Partner with sales teams to develop and execute effective product promotion strategies
  • Support pricing conversations, customer inquiries, and deal negotiations
  • Lead or contribute to strategic initiatives that drive long-term vendor growth
