About The Position

Imperial is hiring a Vending Machine Technician in El Paso. Technicians handle daily service calls and maintenance issues for vending machine equipment, set up equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and provide customer service that supports strong client relationships. The role involves traveling to client locations, driving a company vehicle in all weather, participating in an on-call rotation, and working with equipment, tools, and inventory. Training is provided; prior experience is not necessary.

Requirements

Mechanical and/or electrical background through prior work experience or formal training.
Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
Willingness to travel to client locations to service and install equipment.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation that includes weekends, nights, and early-morning service calls.
Integrity, innovation, responsibility, growth orientation, and attention to detail.

Strong client-relations skills.
Ability to lift and use equipment weighing over 100 pounds.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach overhead, use stairs, and drive.

Nice To Haves

Experience in maintenance, repair, technician work, refrigeration, HVAC, or related areas; experience is not necessary because training is provided.

Responsibilities

Answer service calls.
Set up various vending equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance.

Drive a company vehicle in all weather conditions.
Load and unload equipment weighing over 100 pounds on and off vehicles and at client locations.
Use deductive reasoning to understand and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Manage parts and tool inventories.
Use hand tools, pallet jacks, forklifts, and truck lift gates.
Be punctual and present.
