About The Position

The Vehicle Zone Administrator I is responsible for ensuring vehicles are accurately identified, properly staged, and consistently visible within inventory systems. This role directly supports operational success by improving auction readiness, inventory accuracy, lot flow efficiency, and customer satisfaction while maintaining a safe and organized lot environment. The position requires working at a specified Cox location and involves tasks such as stickering, vehicle staging, lot scanning, and operational coordination.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Experience operating manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with handheld scanning devices.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Lot Operations, inventory management, logistics, or auction experience.
  • Experience with vehicle tracking and inventory systems.
  • Leadership, coordination, or team lead experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of lot flow and staging processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicles receive accurate and timely stock number labels, sale stickers, and other required vehicle identification materials.
  • Coordinate staging efforts to ensure vehicles are positioned correctly for inspections, imaging, reconditioning, transportation, and sale events.
  • Monitor daily scanning compliance within the assigned zone.
  • Assign and track daily tasks related to scanning, stickering, and staging activities.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company safety standards.
