About The Position

All our vehicles are inspected and reconditioned based on our 150-point certification checklist and come with a 7-day return policy. Requirements

CDL class A and clean driving record
21+ years old
Ability to speak, read and write English
Proficient with word, spreadsheets, systems
Have more than two years of CDL driving experience
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Maintain a DOT Medical card
Ability to develop individuals and teams for organizational success

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent is desirable
System and on the job training experience preferred
Smith Systems training and/or certification preferred or willing to be certified

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a world class onboarding experience to newest Vehicle Transporters at Carvana
Serve as the primary trainer, getting new hires up to speed over a 1-week training period on how to effectively maneuver, maintain, and operate car trailers and other logistics equipment
Comfortable with classroom training as well as hands-on training
Ability to be coach, mentor, and provide feedback to new hires
Draw upon a wide variety of techniques to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.
Use skills matrix and evaluation checklists/assessments or similar tools.
Collaborate with multiple Logistics Managers to ensure a smooth transition from training to on-the-job
Support with other projects as needed
Travel is required 50% of the time, however business needs could dictate more travel.
