We are looking for a talented Test Engineer I , you will be responsible for validating and testing client components and systems to aid in the development of a high-quality process that meets Customer needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related Associate’s Degree with 2 years relevant work experience in an automotive engineering laboratory; equivalent related work experience also acceptable in lieu of education.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an automotive engineering laboratory.
High School Diploma.
Proven knowledge of engineering testing, including methods, equipment, reporting and analysis.
Ability to work well in a Team environment.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong independent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to walk.
Ability to speak verbally and read in English.
Ability to see with corrective lenses.
Ability to hear.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity.
Ability to use a computer.

Responsibilities

Analyze test objectives and testing parameters to provide test results.
Learn to use equipment instrumentation for set up and calibration.
Understanding of basic level system for vehicle troubleshooting.
Learn to create build sheets and books using templates.
Understanding of project management fundamentals including work plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports.
Understanding of gains, full scales, and frequencies.
Use a Windows based computer system to access relevant test procedures and quality system documents, enter measurement data, store, and retrieve files from the network, etc.
Work with the staff to ensure quality testing.
Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
All other related duties as assigned.
Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job.
