About The Position

America’s Auto Auction is a rapidly growing premier auto auction group operating across 19 states. Headquartered in Carmel, IN, we build lasting relationships through superior customer service. We are seeking motivated individuals eager to start a career in the automotive industry and grow with our expanding company. As a Vehicle Registration Clerk, you will be the face of our Main gate operations. You will greet customers, inspect and log vehicle data into our system.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with computers; previous data entry skills preferred.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and strong English communication skills.
• Ability to stand for hours and climb in/out of vehicles.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs.
• Comfort working outdoors in all conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
• Comfort working around loud engine noises and vehicle exhaust fumes.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving customers with a helpful attitude.
• Address customer requests quickly and professionally.
• Maintain proper work flow of main gate.
• Enter vehicle data into our system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Confirm all sale vehicles are registered with proper stickers.
• Verify window markings (year, lot number, mileage, dealer code).
• Complete all photos of vehicles and upload in system.
• Review customer paperwork during the exit process.
• Log out departing vehicles in the digital inventory system.
• Flag operational issues to management in a timely manner.
