About The Position

The Vehicle Parts Expediter is responsible for the efficient and timely delivery and pickup of vehicle parts and related materials. This role ensures that the necessary parts are available for vehicle maintenance and repair operations, contributing to the overall efficiency of the fleet services department. The position requires adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 12 months of experience in a related role.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current DMV report (no more than 6 months old).
• Ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• Ability to lift and carry parts and equipment as needed.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a fleet services or automotive environment.
• Familiarity with vehicle parts and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver vehicle parts, supplies, and equipment as directed.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area.
• Assist with inventory management and stockroom organization.
• Operate a vehicle safely and responsibly in accordance with all traffic laws.
• Ensure all deliveries and pickups are completed within designated timeframes.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
• Perform routine checks on the assigned vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding parts status and delivery schedules.
