About The Position

PRYER Aerospace is hiring for a Full Time Manufacturing Expeditor. PRYER Aerospace is a leading provider of structural components, assemblies and kits to the aerospace industry. We specialize in the fabrication of complex sheet metal and machined components for commercial, corporate and military aircraft. SIGNING BONUS AVAILABLE! POSITION SUMMARY: Moves production jobs on the manufacturing floor from a completed work center to the next work center where work must be performed Follows a prescribed path within the plant and records date and time of each stop. Maintains constant awareness of all" HOT" jobs on floor, giving extra attention to those jobs. Provides support by delivering tools and material staging, via operating forklifts Moves production jobs and performs activities in support of successfully ensuring delivery and distribution of parts in order to expedite flow of materials and meet production schedules. Strong interface with Machine Operators, Planners/Schedulers, Buyers, Quality, Program Management and Manufacturing personnel. Follows a prescribed path within the plant and records date and time of each stop. Ability to walk 3 to 5 miles a day, mostly within the plant, from work center to work center Self-motivated and driven to produce results Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. May design processes to enhance workflow. Provides data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures. Deliver material and production jobs to shops, with inventory corrections made. Maintain the appearance of the warehouse by sweeping and organizing Utilize the forklift in moving inventory. Safely operate company vehicles to deliver materials/parts as needed. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing/machining process
  • Experience with basic hand and power tools
  • Familiar with basic Quality Requirements/ISO Awareness
  • Use of Material Management software.
