Linde Inc. is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain tractors, trailers, electrical systems, PTO systems, hydraulic pumping systems, and self-contained pony motor pumping systems. This role involves using manufacturer diagnostic software, OEM manuals, websites, and diagnostic/calibration equipment to perform maintenance, repairs, and calibrations. The mechanic will also perform, document, and track preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), calibration activities, warranty repairs, and work orders in the maintenance management system. Additionally, the position requires maintaining fleet appearance through body repair, fabrication, and refurbishment, managing inventory of parts, tires, fuel, oil, and lubricants, and performing roadside service calls to minimize equipment downtime. Compliance with trucking bulletins, alerts, safety standards, and environmental requirements is essential, as is maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
