About The Position

This role is responsible for organizing and maintaining vehicle placement within assigned zones, utilizing operational dashboards and management direction to prioritize vehicle movement and staging activities. The specialist ensures the safe and efficient movement of vehicles throughout the lot, scans and stages vehicles using handheld devices to maintain inventory accuracy, and locates and recovers misplaced or lost vehicles. They communicate operational priorities, support daily lot activities, and assist with sale day operations and lane support. Key tasks include inputting accurate vehicle information into AS/400 and handheld systems, affixing stock number and barcode stickers, inspecting and reporting transportation damage, and removing personal information and customer belongings from vehicles. The role also involves clearing navigation systems and connected device information, performing basic FIT tunnel maintenance, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Additionally, the specialist assists customers in locating vehicles and resolving routine questions, follows all safety policies, and performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver license with a safe driving record.
  • Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to use handheld technology.
  • Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug test.
  • Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship. No OPT, CPT, STEM/OPT or visa sponsorship now or in future.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
