Leading international auction group has a Vehicle Inspector/Condition Report Writer opening!
Requirements
- Ability to work outside during all weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk and lift up-to 20 lbs. without difficulty.
- Regular and consistent availability and attendance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, for duration of employment.
- Need to pass pre-employment screening.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on vehicle inspections, assessing cosmetic and mechanical condition.
- Complete condition reports in compliance with client and auction requirements.
- Accurately document mileage, options, damages, photos, and mechanical status.
- Identify frame and flood damage and verified vehicle information.
- Stock vehicles into inventory systems with correct trim codes.
- Clear personal data from vehicle phones and navigation systems.
- Conduct vehicle photography and 5-mile test drives.
- Maintain inspection equipment, including tablets and reporting tools.
- Complete 20–30 vehicle condition reports daily (excluding sale days).
- Serve as PSI and Arbitration Inspector on sale days.
- Work independently and collaboratively to support auction operations.
- Communicate operational issues promptly to management.
