About The Position

The Truck Interior Cleaning Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall condition of company equipment and designated terminal areas. This role ensures that all truck interiors are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and prepared for safe and professional driver use. The position focuses on detailed interior cleaning, odor removal, and sanitation of high-touch surfaces to support driver experience, safety, and company standards. This role also supports general facility upkeep as needed. Success requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to identify and address cleanliness or minor condition issues before they impact operations or driver satisfaction. Occasional terminal cleaning including restrooms, showers, floors, and windows (Added for Mustang only).

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; required
Interest in diesel mechanic field.
No experience necessary.

Responsibilities

Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas and seats.
Shampoo or steam clean the fabric or upholstery to remove stains and odors.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched areas (steering wheel, gear shifter, and controls).
Clean all windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces inside the truck, ensuring streak-free clarity.
Use air fresheners or ozone treatments to neutralize odors (such as smoke, food, or mustiness).
Remove any trash or debris from inside the cab.
Disinfect high-touch areas, such as door handles, seat belts, and the steering wheel.
Wipe down the interior door panels, dashboard, and all other accessible surfaces.
Adjust and clean seats (removing any stains, pet hair, or dirt buildup).
Clean and organize storage compartments and other available storage spaces.
Check for any scratches or damage and address where possible.
Maintain and properly store all cleaning tools (vacuum, brushes, microfiber towels, cleaning agents).
