You are the engine that powers our pre-owned inventory at J. Allen Ford. Your goal is to bring high energy, hustle, and relentless commitment to finding and acquiring great vehicles—whether they drive into our service lane or are listed in the local community. You create genuine value for our customers, bridge the gap between Service and Sales, and keep our dealership stocked with profitable inventory.
Requirements
- Fast, seamless delivery of vehicle valuations.
- Upbeat, professional, and confident communication with every customer.
- Proactive daily follow-up and steady logging of every acquisition lead.
Responsibilities
- Greet every customer on the service drive with high-touch hospitality and excitement.
- Hand every service guest a complimentary CarFax and market valuation within 15 minutes—zero pressure, total transparency.
- Help guests explore selling or trading their vehicle, making smooth handoffs to our appraisal and sales teams.
- Maintain a continuous, strong presence on the lane so no opportunity slips by.
- Call tomorrow's service appointments to build excitement around their vehicle's value and prep their documents in advance.
- Actively hunt for vehicles on Facebook Marketplace, Cars.com, and AutoTrader using vAuto to buy inventory directly from private sellers.
- Dig into our customer database to identify drivers sitting on positive equity and turn those leads into buys.
