Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience providing engineering support for legacy and current versions of Citrix products.
  • 5+ years of experience with BS degree or a combination of years of experience and education
  • Progressive roles from Administrator to Sr. Engineer
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v7.15 and later
  • Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) and Machine Creation Services (MCS)
  • Citrix Cloud Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
  • Citrix Netscaler / ADC / VPX
  • Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM)
  • Citrix App Layering
  • Liquidware Profile Unity
  • Hyper V, VMWare VDI (Microsoft or Citrix NetScalers / ADCs)
  • Familiar with HP AnyConnect and Leostream
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Top Secret/SCI Clearance Must Currently Possess

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing and administering Windows Server clustering
  • Experience with Infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • System Center Virtual Machine Manager/Vmware Vcenter 6.7
  • Active Directory/ Group Policies
  • Home Directory and Profile management Support Services
  • Desktop Software provisioning and Support Services
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret SCI + Polygraph

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of a large, globally accessed virtual desktop environment.
  • Act as the SME in troubleshooting all related performance issues across the organization.
  • Provide TIER 3/4 support to system administrators to resolve VDI issues.
  • Provide guidance on optimization of desktops for platform interoperability.
  • Act as liaison between Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) technologies.
  • Offer endpoint support on issues and trouble resolution tasks on Virtual Desktop related tasks.
  • Maintain advanced knowledge relative to administration, engineering, and implementation of virtual desktop infrastructure-related technologies.
  • Operate across multiple and complex production environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Apply extensive technical expertise and have full knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Conduct trade studies and make recommendations on solutions and "make buy" decisions.
