GDIT is seeking a VDI Engineer to support Government activities in Sterling, VA or Annapolis Junction, MD. This role involves engineering new and improved enhancements for existing and emerging virtual desktop technologies within a people-focused and customer-centric environment. The VDI Engineer will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of complex Citrix XenDesktop and NetScaler solutions, as well as designing and supporting Microsoft infrastructure solutions including Azure Virtual Desktop. Key activities include engineering, designing, testing, implementing, maintaining, securing, and managing VDI environments. The role also involves interacting with Government stakeholders, mitigating and monitoring VDI environments for Authorize to Operate (ATO), managing Citrix and Azure products, utilizing scripting skills in PowerShell or Python, and providing Tier 3 support. Documentation of VDI solutions, processes, and procedures is also a critical part of the role.
