About The Position

Aldridge is seeking an VDC Detailer to join our dynamic and energetic team. In this role, you will utilize BIM software and work with experienced detailers while developing detailed info for electrical construction.

Requirements

Knowledge of AutoCAD
Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
Excels at time management and prioritization, consistently meeting deadlines while generating high-quality work
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
Positive attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment
Ability to follow instructions
Able to read and understand drawings and plans
Possesses a strong sense of responsibility and accountability for assigned tasks and projects

Nice To Haves

Experience with Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, or any other BIM software is a plus

Responsibilities

Ensure the integrity of project drawings and maintain privileged information as per customer and company requirements
Work closely with VDC, PreFab and Project Teams.
Work alongside experienced detailers with the utilization of BIM software modeling electrical systems
Produce fabrication spool drawings, detailed rack drawings, CAD as-builts, and CAD files for our CNC machine
Understand, promote, implement, and educate project teams and clients about Virtual Design and Construction benefits, processes, and technologies
