About The Position

Elevity, a subsidiary of The Gordon Flesch Company, is seeking a vCIO to help clients elevate their businesses through IT strategy, security, solutions, and support. The role builds and manages client relationships, facilitates technology strategy discussions, advises clients on industry trends and best practices, and aligns technology capabilities with business goals. The vCIO also develops technology roadmaps, guides technology projects and solutions, recommends Elevity managed IT capabilities, and contributes to client satisfaction and retention. The position includes assessing client networks and reviewing products and service components, coordinating on-site technical support when needed, providing occasional technical support, and assisting with client contract management. It requires 25–40% travel, which may include overnight travel. Elevity describes its work environment as collaborative and supportive of career development and work-life balance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of network administration experience.
Excellent organizational skills, including task management and follow-through.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Natural curiosity and a strong desire to assist others.
Comfort engaging professionally with people at different levels of an organization.
1–2 years of experience in cloud technologies.
Expert understanding of IT infrastructure components and operations.
Valid driver’s license.
Access to reliable transportation.
Ability to travel 25–40%, including some overnight travel.

Responsibilities

Build and manage business relationships within the assigned client base.
Facilitate client meetings and technology strategy sessions.
Advise clients on industry trends and best practices.
Identify and propose opportunities for improvement and alignment of technology with business goals.
Proactively complete and update Technology Roadmaps with assigned clients.
Design, architect, and guide client technology projects and solutions.
Recommend capabilities within Elevity’s Managed IT solution offering.
Serve as a product line subject matter expert.
Perform network assessments for clients and review products and service components.
Help coordinate or organize on-site technical support as needed, and provide occasional technical support.
Assist with client contract management.
Be accountable for overall client satisfaction and retention.
Stay current on industry trends and product and service capabilities.
