About The Position
The Vault Cashier is responsible for accurately counting all monies going out of and coming into the vault room, assuming total accountability. This role reports directly to the Vault Supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be proficient in math.
- Must be able to operate a cash register and calculator.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in customer service preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operates office machines, calculator, copy machines, point of sale computers, etc.
- Prepares all outgoing drawers.
- Fills out all appropriate paperwork for shift.
- Makes all payouts.
- Verifies all in-coming orders before signing receipt.
- Equates all formulas for split-pots.
- Counts and verifies all start up and incoming banks.
- Responsible for all cash during each shift including cash at the end of each shift.
- Prepares reserve banks and prepares appropriate deposits.
- Counts up all machine monies and makes replenishments.
- Makes sure any numbers for any progressive games are kept up to date.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work station.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
