About The Position

Participate in the function of controlling and accounting for casino cash receipts and the cash check-out process of the other department cashiers. Balance all money transactions and prepare daily cash deposit. Participate in the maintenance of supporting cash receipts documentation and accumulation of information for daily review by the Revenue Audit department. Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances, understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel, and live the mission of always providing exceptional service. Work and communicate effectively with peers, team members, regulatory agencies and guests, ensuring an excellent guest experience and team member relations. Comply with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols. Understand and comply with the Eye, Hi, Goodbye program. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and/or manager. Regular attendance is required. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/casino industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of Apache Casino Hotel - days, evenings, graveyards, holidays and/or weekends. We are busiest during weekends and holidays, events, and peak seasons as they occur. There is a reasonable expectation you will be scheduled on duty and/or “on-call” during any of these times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Customer service and cash handling experience preferred
  • Mathematical skills sufficient to perform job functions
  • Knowledge, skill, and ability to work with personal computers, Microsoft Office products, player tracking card systems, gaming devices, safety equipment, etc.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license from Fort Sill Apache Gaming Commission
