Vascular Ultrasound Technologist
About The Position
Pulse Heart Institute at MultiCare is a physician-led institute with multi-specialty partnerships across cardiothoracic surgery, vascular, and cardiovascular service lines. Its programs provide cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care, including complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure services, and advanced imaging technologies. The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist performs technical non-invasive vascular procedures and helps ensure quality test results. The role uses vascular expertise, analysis, and understanding of age-related care needs to support pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. This is a per-diem position with a 0.01 FTE, working days on a variable schedule that includes occasional weekend call.
Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of the RVT certification examination and/or ARDMS certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
Nice To Haves
- Minimum two years of college coursework preferred.
- Minimum two years of experience in vascular imaging preferred.
Responsibilities
- Produce optimum scanning results using ultrasound as a diagnostic aid.
- Schedule ultrasound appointments.
- Write reports, file, charge, and stock rooms with appropriate products.
- Place patient welfare above all other duties while the patient is in the ultrasound department.
