About The Position

United Health Services Hospitals is a family of healthcare organizations that exists to improve the health of the communities we serve by developing and maintaining a comprehensive and cost-effective healthcare system. To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless, high-quality, comprehensive surgical care, we are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join an established group of three General Surgeons and four Vascular Surgeons in Binghamton, NY. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team of surgeons committed to delivering outstanding patient care across a diverse patient population. Binghamton, NY, is located approximately 2.5 hours north of New York City and 1 hour from Syracuse, NY. It is a progressive college town offering a strong healthcare presence, a safe living environment, and a diverse community with nearby lakes, ski resorts, golf courses, wineries, a symphony orchestra, and an opera company. Formed in 1981 through the consolidation of three community hospitals, United Health Services Hospitals employs more than 6,000 people. As a teaching hospital affiliated with SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, NY, and Binghamton University’s Health Sciences Center, UHS trains over 100 physicians per year in residency and fellowship programs.   • Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care, including open and endovascular procedures.
