About The Position

A major medical center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania is adding a vascular surgeon to its surgical staff. This is a long-term, full-scope opportunity with a predictable weekday schedule and no RVU treadmill. The Opportunity includes full arterial and venous scope: open and endovascular procedures, aneurysm repair, carotid and peripheral revascularization, dialysis access, and vein work. The schedule is Monday–Friday, daytime with light and shared call. Dedicated OR block time and vascular lab support are provided. This is a stable service line with a multi-year runway, not a stopgap.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Completed residency in general surgery plus fellowship in vascular surgery
• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery (ABS)
• Active, unrestricted state medical license (Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility)
• Current BLS and ACLS
• Clean malpractice and credentialing history
• Living in Northeastern Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

• Perform open and endovascular procedures
• Conduct aneurysm repair
• Perform carotid and peripheral revascularization
• Provide dialysis access
• Perform vein work
• Participate in light and shared call
