We are searching for a talented Vascular Sonographer to join our Cardiology team in Dartmouth, MA.

Requirements

Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Vascular Technology Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) is required.
A registered Technologist/Sonographer is required.
A minimum of two years of experience is required.
Current RDMS, RVS, RT(S), or registry eligible is required.
Registration within one year is required.
CPR certification is also required.
Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of technical procedures involving the application of high frequency ultrasound waves to patients for diagnostic purposes.
Exercise a high degree of precision, skill, and judgment.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, Doppler physics/instrumentation, ultrasound physics, and instrumentation.
Pursue appropriate certifications in vascular technology.
Exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
Provide appropriate patient care and recognize patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
