About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Vascular Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech for Vibra Hospital of Northern California in Redding, California. The hospital is a 50-bed critical care hospital and a 32-bed skilled nursing facility providing long-term acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including patients with medically complex conditions. The role provides diagnostic radiography and ultrasound imaging to support patient diagnosis and coordinates procedure ordering and image transmission to the radiologist.

The position is PRN. The wage range is $37.40 to $49.36 per hour; compensation depends on factors such as skills, experience, education, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs.

Requirements

• Current ARDMS and ARRT credentials.
• Current, valid, active certification to practice as a Radiology/Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of previous experience.
• Radiologic and ultrasound technologist experience in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, quality-oriented patient care by producing diagnostic radiographs and ultrasound images when ordered by a physician.
• Coordinate the process for ordering procedures and transmitting images to the radiologist in a timely and professional manner.
