About The Position

Diagnostic Imaging Solutions (DIS), a subsidiary of Catalyst MedTech, is a nationwide provider of cardiovascular imaging, ultrasound services, clinical staffing, and diagnostic solutions. DIS is hiring a Vascular Sonographer to perform vascular ultrasound studies at assigned client locations, including outpatient testing centers, hospitals, clinics, and physician offices. The role involves independent work in varied clinical settings, regular travel, and patient care in moderate- to high-volume environments. The schedule is Monday through Friday during daylight hours, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts.

Requirements

• Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) certification.
• Successful completion of an accredited ultrasound program.
• Two years of vascular ultrasound experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to push and pull heavy medical equipment.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound studies, including carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, and other vascular exams, in accordance with established protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and clinical staff to support high-quality imaging and patient care.
• Obtain thorough patient histories and present key findings to the interpreting physician.
• Assist with ACR and IAC accreditation processes.
• Work in sterile environments according to established protocols and client processes.
• Safely operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, keep routine maintenance up to date, and promptly report malfunctions or concerns.
• Participate in quality assessment and process improvement initiatives.
• Travel safely to assigned client locations.
• Maintain ethical professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
