About The Position

Atlantic Health is seeking a physician to join their vascular neurology division at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center, a comprehensive stroke center. The role involves being part of the stroke service line and Atlantic Medical Group, reporting to multiple directors within the system. Responsibilities include participating in the acute stroke team (code strokes via in-person or telemedicine) and the vascular neurology consult service for inpatient vascular consults. There may also be outpatient clinic duties. The vascular neurologist will collaborate with emergency medicine physicians, neurosurgeons, interventionalists, and neurointensivists, and will guide and supervise stroke team members, including APNs and PAs. Additionally, the role involves working with stroke coordinators and managers, reviewing quality data, and ensuring best practices for stroke patients. Clinical academic appointments are available through Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the acute stroke team (code strokes: either in-person and/or via telemedicine)
