About The Position
This position provides interventional radiology coverage on-site. The role involves performing various procedures such as biopsies, drainages, tube placements, line placements, nephrostomies, biliary drainages, and arterial angiograms. Additionally, the physician will perform diagnostic radiology interpretation as needed, making up 20% of the role. The physician will utilize imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound, and will work collaboratively with other IR/DX physicians and support staff. Accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system is required.
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active New York medical license
- ACLS required
- EPIC training required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Phillips angio suites preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional radiology coverage on-site, including biopsies, drainages, tube placements, line placements, nephrostomies, biliary drainages, and arterial angiograms.
- Perform diagnostic radiology interpretation as needed (20% DX component).
