About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Vascular & Interventional Radiologist in Jefferson City, MO. The role involves clinical coverage only from November 2, 2026, to May 3, 2027. The workload will consist of approximately 80-90% diagnostic radiology interpretations and 10-20% light interventional procedures. The physician will utilize the EPIC EMR system, collaborate with referring physicians and radiologists, and maintain board certification and credentialing requirements.
Requirements
- Board Certification required
- Ability to perform LPs (Lumbar Punctures)
- Ability to perform Myelos (Myelograms)
- Ability to perform Paras (Paracentesis)
- Ability to perform Thora (Thoracentesis)
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic radiology interpretations (approximately 80-90% of workload)
- Perform light interventional procedures including lumbar punctures, myelograms, paracentesis, and thoracentesis (approximately 10-20% of workload)
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and ordering
- Collaborate with referring physicians and radiologists
- Maintain board certification and comply with credentialing requirements
