P01 - VAS Lead 2
About The Position
RJW Logistics Group is seeking a VAS Lead (Value Added Services) for the 2nd Shift. This role is responsible for monitoring multiple tasks and assisting in Co-pack operations with limited supervision. The ideal candidate will have basic inventory control skills and be able to lead a team of associates with minimal direction. Requirements
- 2 years warehouse experience.
- Co-pack, labeling, QA, IC experience.
- Warehouse safety experience.
- Be able to lead a team of associates with minimal direction.
- Computer experience a must.
- GED or H.S. Diploma
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be articulate and comfortable speaking in front of others.
- Regularly works in an indoor/warehouse environment and required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift or kneel during the work day.
- Frequently required to talk, hear, and communicate to customers or other employees.
- Must be able to work in excess of continuous 8 hours when required.
Nice To Haves
- College is a plus.
- Certified/qualified Forklift/Walkie Rider/Cherry Picker drivers will receive an additional $0.50 p.hr
- Certified/qualified Reach Truck drivers will receive an additional $1.00 p.hr
Responsibilities
- Supervising / leading of warehouse employees.
- Time keeping / temp roster
- Inventory checks.
- Cleaning of the warehouse.
