About The Position

The Agnes Irwin School, a PreK through 12 all-girls’ school in Rosemont, PA, is looking for an experienced assistant track coach for the 2026-2027 winter and spring seasons. This position will be responsible for continuing development of the highly competitive upper school varsity track program and student-athletes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience coaching track and/or field events
• Evidenced ability to maintain and consistently exemplify the highest standards of professionalism, leadership, sportsmanship and respect
• Proven organizational and motivational skills
• Demonstrated abilities in communication and community relations
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with students, staff, administration, and parents
• Knowledge of appropriate safety measures to ensure the well-being of student-athletes
• Experience working with an Athletic Trainer, ensuring student-athletes receive proper medical and physical training services
• CPR/First Aid certification

Nice To Haves

• Preference given to those candidates that have experience specifically training mid distance runners.

Responsibilities

• Work with our head varsity track coach in coordinate practice sessions and training programs with an emphasis on athletic growth and development as well as safety
• Attend all practices and meets; coach team to build competitive success
• Recruit student-athletes of high academic and athletic potential to Agnes Irwin
• Promote a positive attitude, academic achievement, and personal growth
• Comply with all Agnes Irwin procedures and policies
