Requirements
- Detailed knowledge of current practices, rules, principles, and technical skills of basketball.
- Valid and up-to-date First Aid, CPR, AED & Concussion Management certifications.
- Valid and up-to-date DASA certification.
- NYS Coaching certification.
- Completed an internship for the particular sport OR possess a temporary or permanent NYS coaching license for the particular sport.
- Proof of NYS fingerprinting clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Head/assistant coaching experience at the Modified level or equivalent credentials.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Head Coach for the Varsity Boys Basketball team.
- Demonstrate the ability to recruit and sustain a program.
