Varsity Boys and Girls Swim Coach
About The Position
St. Mary’s Catholic High School is looking to hire a boys and girls varsity swim head coach for the 2026 season. The swim coach will train student athletes in the fundamental skills, and physical training necessary for them to realize their talents as well as a degree of individual and team success. Applicants should strive to develop a program that is in line with the school’s mission, placing a primary emphasis on the physical, moral, and academic formation of the young men and women in their program. Applicants should possess the coaching experience and background needed to evaluate and develop athletes in swim.
Requirements
- Completed Safe Environment Training through the Diocese of Phoenix
- All required NFHS Courses
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Certified teacher or an NFHS certified coach
Responsibilities
- Train student athletes in the fundamental skills and physical training necessary for them to realize their talents and achieve team success.
- Develop a program in line with the school's mission, emphasizing the physical, moral, and academic formation of student athletes.
- Evaluate and develop athletes in swimming.
