About The Position

NorthPointe Christian Schools is seeking a Varsity Bowling Coach for the Winter 2026 season, which begins November 9, 2026. The coach will provide general athletic and spiritual oversight of the entire bowling program, from elementary through high school. This includes overseeing sub-varsity, middle school, and youth programs, as well as player advancement, youth camps and clinics, out-of-season training, and equipment inventory. The coach will also manage the program's budget and maintain accurate rosters and statistics.

Requirements

Active Christian in agreement with and willing to sign the NorthPointe Christian School’s Foundational statements.
Able to pass required background checks and fingerprint screening.

Responsibilities

Provide general athletic and spiritual oversight of the entire bowling program (elementary-high school).
Oversee sub-varsity, middle school, and youth programs and development.
Oversee the spiritual development of the team and the entire program.
Recruit and approve sub-varsity and middle school coaches (paid and volunteer).
Postseason meet and evaluate sub-varsity and middle school coaches.
Manage player advancement in communication with the Director of Athletics (AD).
Submit plans to the AD and oversee youth camps and clinics.
Oversee out-of-season training and compliance.
Make and maintain a list of equipment and uniforms and share with the AD.
Collect and maintain keys and key fobs for the program.
Manage the program's budget at the discretion of the coach and AD.
Provide an accurate, up-to-date roster to the athletic office.
Keep up-to-date records for record boards.
