ALCS Varsity Assistant Football Coach
About The Position
We are seeking a passionate, committed Varsity Assistant Football Coach to join our program. This individual will work with the Head Coach to develop student athletes in skill, technique, discipline, teamwork, and Christ-like character. Applicants will be in agreement with the principles contained within our Statement of Faith to be eligible for employment. Passion for discipling young men through athletics.
Requirements
- Previous prep football coaching or playing experience preferred
- Knowledge of the game and ability to teach fundamentals
- Commitment to the mission and values of Christian education
- Ability to mentor and disciple student athletes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience coaching at the high school level
- Experience with strength and conditioning programs
Responsibilities
- Assist in executing daily practices, game strategies, and player development
- Coach specific position group(s)
- Support a culture of accountability, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Build positive relationships with student athletes, parents, and staff
- Model and integrate Christian values within the program
- Participate in team events, Coach's meetings, and off-season development
- Assist with program logistics, equipment, and communication
