Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Must pass prescreen check.
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred.
- Willingness to train.
- Valid Hawaii Driver's License preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Good communication in English and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Capable of performing tasks in any type of weather.
- Physically capable of carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling a minimum of 25 pounds to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks such as stretching, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing and pressing.
Nice To Haves
- Cleaning experience preferred.
- Valid Hawaii driver's license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing restrooms to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Emptying recycling bins/trash receptacles, restocking supplies.
- Performing minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed based on assigned work site.
- Setting up or breaking down furniture for events and ensuring that all areas are secure after cleaning.
- Operating various cleaning equipment such as buffer machines, ride-behind machines, side-by-side machines, floor scrubbers, shampoo carpet machines, leaf blowers, and pressure washers.
- General maintenance and repairs of facility equipment and property structures, as well as grounds maintenance.
