About The Position

Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) and Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) are seeking dependable, caring, and responsible Van Riders to ensure children travel safely and comfortably each day. This role involves more than just accompanying children during transportation; it's about creating a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for the children and families served. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, communicates well, and desires a job where their work has a significant impact. MKSA/KULA's mission is to help young children with developmental delays and disabilities build the skills they need to live meaningful and successful lives, serving children from birth through kindergarten in a supportive, child-centered environment. The Van Rider is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that includes educators, therapists, and medical professionals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to child safety
• Caring, patient, and comfortable working with young children
• Friendly and professional when communicating with children, families, coworkers, and drivers
• Attentive and able to remain focused in a busy environment
• Organized and able to follow transportation and safety procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a variety of people
• Ability to work compassionately with children from birth through age six and their families
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to following safety procedures
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to use good judgment and practical problem-solving skills
• Basic written communication and math skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children is helpful but not necessary
