About The Position

Active Learning Centers is seeking a caring, dependable, and safety-minded Van Driver to join their team. This role is crucial for providing safe and positive transportation experiences for children before and after school, as well as for occasional field trips. The driver will become a trusted and familiar face in a child's day, aiming to create a safe, positive, and welcoming experience from the moment a child enters the van. Active Learning Centers is described as a family committed to personal growth and supporting families.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to meet all applicable Pennsylvania childcare transportation requirements
• Ability to pass all required background checks and clearances for PA childcare
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation to and from the ALC location

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for children before and after school.
• Create a safe, positive, and welcoming experience for children during transportation.
• Interact positively with children, families, and staff.
• Follow all ALC transportation, safety, and supervision expectations.
• Drive for occasional field trips and additional driving opportunities as needed.
