Requirements

One year of employment which required operation of a motor vehicle as a regular duty; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
No suspension of driver’s license within the last three years.
Meet the PA residency requirement.
Able to perform essential job functions.
Pass a background investigation.
Satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
Medical examination and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Provide daily travel in a county vehicle while ensuring comfort and courtesy for all consumers
Adjust to changes in routes, timing, and travel needs throughout the day
Help senior adults and wheelchair-dependent individuals
Use strong person to person skills and two way radio communication to support safe and timely service
Maintain reliability, patience, and a positive approach during all consumer interactions
