Requirements

Must be age 25 or older
Valid driver's license with clean driving record
Reliable, organized, and able to manage a flexible schedule
Professional appearance and dependable attendance
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Lift up to 100 lbs. and push/move 200+ lbs. (including wheelchairs on ramps)
Stand or walk for extended periods
May be exposed to bodily fluids and communicable illnesses
High school diploma (or equivalent)

Nice To Haves

CNA certification and medical transport experience preferred
Experience working with elderly residents is a plus

Responsibilities

Transport residents safely to and from medical appointments, hospital visits, and other outings
Coordinate and schedule appointments; communicate details with residents, families, and staff
Arrange alternative transportation as needed and ensure timely follow-up
Ensure all required documentation accompanies residents; report updates to nursing upon return
Assist residents with loading/unloading and properly secure wheelchairs and equipment
Maintain transport vehicle readiness, including cleanliness, fuel, maintenance, and registration
Follow all safety protocols, including no cell phone use while operating company vehicles
Perform routine maintenance tasks (repairs, inspections, preventive upkeep) and respond to urgent requests
Maintain accurate logs for maintenance, safety checks, and compliance (including SDS)
Build professional, respectful relationships with residents, staff, vendors, and support emergency preparedness efforts
