About The Position
Oak Creek Rehabilitation in Kimberly, Idaho, is hiring a part-time Van Driver/Transportation Specialist for its skilled nursing facility. The role supports patient care by arranging and providing transportation to medical and other appointments, including loading and unloading geriatric patients. The position may also involve supervising a part-time driver.
Requirements
- Must be at least 25 years of age.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds to a height of 3 to 4 feet and push, move, or carry that weight a minimum distance of 200 feet.
- Current driver license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma.
- Reliable and organized.
- Great attitude.
- Enjoy working with geriatric people.
Nice To Haves
- CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) certification is preferred.
- Prior driving experience is desired but not required.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient doctor and other appointments.
- Load and unload geriatric patients into the facility transport vehicle.
- Transport patients to and from doctor and other appointments.
- Potentially supervise a part-time driver.
