About The Position

Desert View Care Center is seeking a Full-Time Transportation Specialist / Van Driver to join our team in Buhl, Idaho. In this role, you'll play an important part in helping residents safely attend medical appointments and stay connected to essential services. You'll also help ensure each trip is comfortable, timely, and supportive of the resident experience. Requirements

• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable, organized, and dependable
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Interest in working with the geriatric population

Nice To Haves

• Prior driving or transportation experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling medical and other off-site appointments
• Safely transporting residents to and from appointments
• Assisting residents with entering and exiting the vehicle
• Ensuring resident comfort and safety during transport
• Maintaining transportation schedules and communication with the care team
• Supporting facility needs related to transportation logistics
• Potentially assisting in oversight of a part-time driver
