About The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Senior Transportation Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely transporting clients and goods to their destinations. Responsibilities include ensuring regular vehicle maintenance, adhering to safety procedures, and providing excellent customer service. Our ideal candidate is experienced in the transportation industry, holds a valid driver’s license, and has an excellent driving record.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a professional driver
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent driving record
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
- Effective communication skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Transport clients and goods to their specified destinations safely and efficiently
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is equipped with necessary equipment
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Adhere to traffic laws and safety procedures
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods
- Provide excellent customer service to clients
- Handle any emergency situation that may arise during transport
- Report any delays, accidents or other traffic disruptions
- Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo details
