Requirements

Must maintain a verified and unexpired Commercial Driver's License.
Must maintain a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Communicate with Route Supervisor.
Monitor all gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure proper working order, reporting any malfunctions to the route supervisor immediately.
Fulfill all assigned route pickups daily.
Operate hydraulic controls.
Tarp loads when required.
Operate tipper at landfill.
Drop and hook trailers daily as needed.
Back and navigate truck in tight spaces.
Ensure loads adhere to DOT load securement requirements.
Clean the interior of the truck as needed.
Notify Route Supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage immediately.
Operate truck in all weather conditions and work environments.
Notify Route Supervisor or dispatch of service interruptions, including blocked containers, closed lots, streets, alleyways, or any potential safety hazards.
Demonstrate knowledge of proper DOT loading, transportation, and shipping procedures for commodities.
Maintain a verified and unexpired Commercial Driver's License and a safe driving record.
Follow all company policies per the Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct.
Follow all company safety guidelines.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
